I was wondering what you all thought of the Season four opening to The Venture Brothers.
Personally, I thought there was a few laughs but I can't seem to be a little disappointed. I am going to watch it again before making up my mind.

As with the season 3 opener, I enjoyed that this was about being spun into a web of complexity, rather than digging for constant laughs. The non-linear narrative was an exciting twist and I hope they utilize this form of storytelling in future episodes.
My one disappointment was the brainwashing of SRGT. Hatred. The only reason the character was funny to begin with was because he was a pedophile. Forcing him into this new roll seems kind of, well, forced.
And if all else fails, you gotta admit, the upgrade to the show's art is just fantastic!
You make a very good point Wind Attack. Ut is great they just don;t stick with some formula, like the sit-com where everything must end the same way it began.
